A number of constituents have sent me a copy of a
campaign email regarding caged pheasants and partridges.
I do not sign EDM's as they rarely achieve anything
whilst costing tax payers significant amounts of money.
The points raised are of concern. Whilst we need to
recognise that UK farming methods and welfare standards are amongst the highest
in the World that should not preclude efforts to ensure continuing improvement
