A number of constituents have written to me and asked if I
am able to attend an Obesity Health Alliance parliamentary reception this week
looking at measures that help make healthier choices easier.
This is an area that is of interest to me, particularly with
the recent figures released that highlight obesity as now the biggest cause of
cancer in the UK.
I will endeavour to attend this reception, Parliamentary
business allowing, and look forward to finding out more about this important
issue.
