I have recently been contacted by constituents asking me to
attend a Westminster Hall Debate on the Independent Review of the Mental Health
Act on 25 July.
Increased awareness and support for mental health conditions
is an area I am very interested in and one where I am pleased to have seen the
Government take significant steps with in recent years.
However I am unable to go to this particular debate as I
have already committed to travel home to Cornwall for other events booked
previously, at that time.
Thank you for bringing this to my attention though, and I
will continue to support efforts to increase awareness and help manage mental
health conditions in the future.
